        Course Description

This eighteen hole course is part of the Palm Coast Resort, which includes four other eighteen hole designs, making the property the first of its kind to have a Gary Player, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus course under the same umbrella. This course features a fair amount of water on the course with the Jefferson Davis Waterway cutting through the course and running parallel to some of the fairways on the back nine. There is also a lake, Lake Success, which is located between holes #14 and #15. The fairways on the course vary is width with some providing ample landing areas and some being more narrow. The fairways generally have grass mounds along the sides, or the waterway, with some being tree lined. The greens are average-sized and are sloped and undulating. Most greens are well protected by deep sand bunkers and there are fairway bunkers located at the landing area from the tees. These is a double green shared by holes #8 and #10. The sprinklers have the yardage marked on them and there are markers in the center of the fairways for the 100, 150, and 200-yard locations. There is also a stake on the side of the fairway marking the 150-yard distance. The location of the hole on the green is indicated by the color of the flag, blue for back, white for middle, and red for front. There are many holes on this course that present interesting designs and/or challenges. Two examples on the front nine are hole #3, a par 3, with a tee shot over water to the green and #4, a long par 5, with water along the left side and an approach shot over water to the green. An interesting hole on the back is #13, a par 3, with part of the green, on the left, protruding out into the waterway. The two par 5Ęs on the back, #14 and #18 are also particularly nice holes. Hole #14 has a very narrow landing area off the tee and water to cross on the second shot. Hole #18 is the signature hole and features a very pretty island green.
